These terms govern your use of Finova. By creating an account, you agree to them.

1. What Finova is

Finova is bookkeeping and invoicing software — a place to record income, expenses, clients and invoices.
It is not an accountant, a tax adviser, or a legal adviser.
Figures and reports reflect what you entered. Finova does not verify or audit them.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password private.
Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
One person or business per account. Do not share login details.

3. Accurate information

Use a real name, a working email and a working phone number. Accounts with false details may be closed without notice.

4. What you may not do

Attempt to access another user's account or records
Probe, scan or interfere with the service or its security
Use Finova for anything unlawful, or to invoice for anything unlawful
Copy, resell or redistribute the software
Post abusive, misleading or unlawful content in the community

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you enter. You give us only the permission needed to store and display it back to you, and to send the invoices you ask us to send.

6. Availability

We aim to keep Finova running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, hosting problems or events outside our control may cause downtime.

Keep your own backups. Use the export feature regularly. Do not rely on Finova as the only copy of your business records.

7. Limits of liability

Finova is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, tax penalties, or decisions taken on the basis of figures shown in the software. Check your own numbers before filing anything.

8. Ending the agreement

You may stop using Finova at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes fall under the courts of West Bengal.
